I. Regulation
Objective
- Conduct a diagnosis of the current status of mandatory PCI regulations and their legal process. Identify the current status of regulations and design methodologies to monitor compliance in the region.
- Identify opportunities for standardizing the use of regulations specific to the region.
- Working as a team with other local and regional organizations to develop methodologies that enable member countries of the network to influence their local governments to improve building safety conditions.
- Conduct a diagnosis of the current state of regulations and their legal process: where, how they are designed, what is installed, who supervises it.

II. Education
Objective
- Identify the real needs for training and updating specialists in the region.
- Propose a standardized training scheme recognized and endorsed by LATAM PCI in accordance with the required competencies.
- Recommend a base of certified or accredited instructors through the network for the development of standardized training programs.
- Develop a curriculum of competencies that a specialist should have. Propose a certification program for specialists.
